Closer, ever closer.
The long construction of the roundabout on M-22 and M-72 has been going all summer, but we're in the final stretch. M-72 was supposed to be closed today for some paving work, and I'll take them at their word because I had no desire to see if that were true, instead avoiding the area completely. Traffic flow has gotten a lot better since the roundabout started functioning and the temporary lights came down. Things are going more smoothly, but then, the summer traffic crush is over. The best test will be next year.
While wandering the area yesterday, I noticed there was new brick work being done in the middle of the roundabout.
