No, the Traverse City Children's Museum as an organization is not going away. I'm referring to the building that was its longtime home on M-22 in Greilickville has reached its end. While the roundabout reaches completion, the old museum building has reached its end.
Only days ago, the happy moose and his friends decorated the cinder block wall, blocks now headed to a landfill.
But, as the saying goes, you can't build a Freshwater Research & Innovation Center without breaking a few children's museums. Or something like that.
