You are probably tired of hearing about me talking about the new roundabout at M-72 and M-22. The fact that I'm mentioning means I feel your pain. While I cannot guarantee that is the last every post about the roundabout, this is almost the last one. I'm almost certain to post one next summer as the tourist season resumes and people who don't live here start using it.
I came home from a hike north of Elk Rapids to discover that the roads were done. Like, done done. The last piece, the connection to Bay Street, was completed. This made me so happy that I drove completely around the roundabout just so I could drive down that section of Bay Street which I haven't been able to do since May. And then I went right through the roundabout to get home. Still, very exciting. Well, as roundabouts get.
