The end has come... and gone. Blue Tractor is no more, going the way of so many restaurants. Its last day was Sunday, August 31st ending a 19-year run on Union Street in Traverse City. Never again will a Haystack Burger grace my plate.
No more blue tractor waiting to greet you when you walk in the door.
The bar area was empty when I first entered the final day Blue Tractor was opened. It probably looks the same at this very moment.
The beer list looking a bit sparse. They still had Diabolical IPA on draft, so I paired that with my final meal.
I mentioned the Haystack Burger, but my true favorite was the delicious pulled pork quesadillas. So quesadilla-y and so pull pork-y. All goodness.
No word on what will replace. A bar has been on this site since 1886 and hopefully something memorable will soon fill the space.
