Once again, I was randomly looking at Google Maps, my favorite web site (next to this blog, of course) and I wandered into the alley next to Playa Bowl (222 East State Street for those of you playing at home) and lo and behold, I saw the business that previously stood on that spot, the Covell Funeral Home. The business moved to a location on Eighth Street when their former digs were demolished in 2023. I had thankfully never visited that particular funeral home, but I remember it being here when I moved to TC in 2020 and took frequent walks downtown. Here are some photos of the area before the Googlemobile next visit to the area wipes these old pictures away forever.
