This is Drew Hale, my favorite local musician here in Traverse City.
Drew often plays at North Bar on Front Street on Thursday, and I sometimes make the drive into the big city to catch a set or two.
We moved to TC in August of 2020. Most things were still shut down for COVID, but we attended the Almira Music Festival. It was a good evening of music and beverages, a beautiful summer night, and the last band to play was The Drew Hale Band. I'm not usually a fan of country music, I liked their sound, and the song that made me a Drew Hale fan was Great Lakes Summer Night. I've enjoyed his music ever since, so check him out. Many of his songs are inspired by our amazing place, Northern Michigan.
