Christmas is coming, and it's my favorite holiday. Family, presents, food, The Charlies Brown Christmas DVD, birth of the savior - you know, that stuff.
I like how Traverse City does their tree. They don't put it in a yard or a plaza. No, they put it in the middle of a street, Cass to be precise. And once the tree is up, the traffic opens and you just have to drive around it.
I hope it always stays like this and no namby pamby "safety first" type complains enough to have it moved somewhere else. It's one of those small things that I like about Traverse City.
