Beers in Kingsley

I visited Kingsley Local Brewing for the first time on Saturday. KLB has been around quite a while now, but Kingsley is not in my normal travel circle. However, I was heading home a hike at the Fife Lake Loop trail, it just so happened to be right on the way home.

And what luck! I arrived at 3:00 just as Happy Hours was starting. I was impressed that they had Happy Hour on Saturday. There were just a few people inside and I bellied up to the bar and had a Cold Chisel Belgian wit bier. I do like a wit bier and I was impressed with a nice flavor, a hint of sweetness and all happiness. And they were playing John Wick 4 on TV - much better than watching golf or Chive TV - I detest watching stupid people do stupid things.

KLB was opened by the same people that do The Workshop in TC. I liked KLB better, perhaps because it lacked the communist decor, but more likely it was just brighter inside and not as crowded. Or that KLB has pints and The Workshop does snifters - I'm a volume drinker. More beer, more better. Oh, and KLB has drink drinks, so if you're a spirits kind of drinker, their mixed drink menu looked excellent.

My first visit will not be my last. Perhaps I can time a hiking trip at Brown Bridge with a stop in Kingsley for a beer. Sounds like a good plan to me.
