In my first post about the flooding in Traverse City, I shared a few pictures of the river, and a video of Logan's Landing. Here are a few more pictures of the results of the high water.
I stopped by the alley that runs between Front Street and the Boardman to check out the sinkhole that had greedily eaten several parking signs.

I then headed to Brown Bridge for a hike, not so much to see damage, but just for a walk by the river. The north side of the trail looked good, though the eastern bridge over the river is out of commission for a while:

As bonus coverage, I also walked on the Boardman River Trail. There were many signs of damage there. The trailheads along Keystone Road were all closed, and I had to park on Cass and walk north. Part of this trail had been washed away.

And even worse, further south, the trail was completely gone.

So there is a lot of damaged trails along the way and I image it will be a while before all is well there.
