We spent the weekend in up north. On Saturday, Andrea and I went into Traverse City for lunch at Amical, Andrea's favorite lunch spot. We split some olive twists, one of the world's best appetizers, and I had the penne rustica style. Olives and sausage, that's some good stuff.
Elena did better than average on both legs of the trip, though she slept very little. Andrea bought some new Laura Berkner music (if you don't have small children, and even if you do, you have probably not heard of her), and that seemed to help.
We found out today that our TV, which was in the shop, would cost more to fix than it would to buy a new TV. So we'll be getting a new TV. What can you expect from something that is just over a year old?
