Organizers of the new Mackinac Island Film Festival are now accepting submissions.

The event will be held Oct. 7-10 at Mission Point Resort on the island.

This is the perfect time to reveal my film about a war among the stars, with rebels led by a princess who is the brother of a farmer from a desert planet with a laser sword. They go blow up a giant space station, and the main villain is called "Darth Vader." I think it's a winner.
