Elf Slayer Blades

These legendary blades were creations of Andropinis and were wielded during the Cleansing War by his favored warriors to complete his task of destroying the elven race. An Elf Slayer is a short sword made from an elven thigh bone. A pure white blade sits atop a steel and bone hilt, an obsidian knob with the faint image of a skeletal face engraved forms the pommel.

Elf Slayers are +2 short swords. Against elves, they have a +4 bonus and have an improved critical of 17-20/x3. They automatically detect elves within a 60' radius. The sword desires the death of elves and tries to force the current holder to attack any elf they encounter. Anyone in possession of an Elf Slayer must make a Will save (DC 15) whenever an elf is encountered or immediately draw the sword and attack until the elf or the attacker are separated by at least 60'. Any elf that tries to grasp an Elf Slayer takes 2d8 points of damage and be stunned for 1d4 rounds.
