- Developed a .NET 2.0 Windows Form application to process payments to invoices for an insurance company. The application was developed in VB.NET and accessed a SQL Server 2005 database.

- Systems architect for a State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth web application to allow DLEG users,
fire marshall's office employees, and certain members of the insurance industry to report fire loss claims of over $5000 to a
centralized location for the tracking of potential arsonists. Application used ASP.NET, VB.NET, and Oracle 9.x.
- Lead developer on
State of Michigan application for the creation and maintenance of Supreme Court
docketing information. System was created so that the clerks and commissioners
of the State of Michigan Supreme Court could better track the progress of
ongoing cases and integrate them with the Court of Appeals database. Three
tiered project used ASP.NET for presentation layer, VB.NET for business logic
and data access code, and Oracle 9.x database. System increased the sharing of
data between courts and improved efficiency of court employees
- Member of development team responsible for converting Visual Basic 6.0 DLLs
into .NET web services utilizing the C# language. Project created so that other State
organizations could take advantage of judiciary data and access it via a common
delivery method
- Created TimeTracker application to store employee time and project descriptions
to interact with an existing payroll application. ASP.NET application developed
with PL/SQL and C# for an Oracle 10.x database platform
- Updated existing application which stored the caseload
information from the various county courts into a centralized location.
Application used ASP, Oracle 8.x, JavaScript, and VBScript
- Created code and requirements documentation for web
application to reimburse all trial courts in the State of Michigan for
their juror expenses. Application was created in order to eliminate
paperwork sent to the State Court Administrative Office and allow for
compliance with new regulations passed by the legislature as well as to
store data in one centralized location.

- Created link tracking system for
automotive Internet site to better analyze their site traffic. Project used
ASP, VBScript, and MS SQL Server 2000
- Member of development team to create web based
system to track the career goals and aptitude test scores for students in the
state of Michigan. System used an ASP-based front end and a MS SQL Server back
end using custom made Visual Basic COM objects to connect to the database
- Developed e-commerce site for a small healthcare company to expand the
market of their line of self help audio products. Based on design team
specifications, created site with Visual Interdev using the following
technologies: JavaScript, VBScript, DHTML, MS SQL, and ASP. Site also required
graphics creation with Adobe Photoshop. In addition to web site, also
developed small Visual Basic application for the user to browse and add items
to product catalog, held in an MS SQL Server 2000 database
- Developed solution for a plastics manufacturer that automatically
transferred data from a Unix based Progress database to a Windows NT based
Access database for more efficient queries
- Created file check in / check out system for an online furniture vendor in
Brea, CA using Active Server Pages to connect to a Visual SourceSafe database.
System was used for clients of the vendor to upload and update images of their
products using version control. System was also integrated with an MS SQL
database to store additional information that was not stored in VSS Performed
ongoing maintenance to a UNIX based furniture manufacturers web site, such as
updating HTML pages and editing JavaScript code

- Administrated six Compaq web servers running Windows
NT 4.0 and IIS on three continents to provide a global knowledgebase for over
4000 EDS employees around the world. System used policies and procedures,
custom built knowledge, and Serviceware Knowledge-Paks as content. Also
responsible for developing web based solutions using ASP, VBScript,
JavaScript, and ADO. Other job functions: requirements gathering, adding new
functionality, and gathering feedback
- Acted as MS SQL Server DBA. Responsible for installing, upgrading, and
maintaining server. Also responsible for database security, user management,
creating / running reports, and running T-SQL queries
- Installed Knowledgebase server for a telecommunications helpdesk in
Reston, VA (10/99) and the US Navy account in Washington DC (3/00)
- Installed Knowledgebase environment, including an authoring server and two
production servers, in support of the banking and telecommunications customers
