My next stop on the Tour de Force that was my 'vacation' was Bath, on the western side of the island. Bath was one of my favorite places - it's quiet, clean, and quite a beautiful city. As the name suggests, Bath was orginally the site of Roman baths. The waters were rumored to have healing properties, and people flocked there. Now, the baths are a tourist site, and there is to be no bathing in those waters. If you saw them, in all their algae infested splendor, you wouldn't want to go in there either. However, there are plans to create a new series of baths, to make the city a spa destination once again
