Welcome to Day 3 of our trip. We had to get up pretty early because we went on the optional excursion to the Vatican museum. According to Tony (and I believe him after seeing it), you have to get there early because the line gets very large very quickly. And when we arrived around 8:00am, there were already several hundred people in front of us.
Here is one of the Vatican galleries. The galleries are narrow and they get pretty crowded. That big red blotch at the front center of the picture is the thing our tour guided waved in the air to make sure we didn't get lost.
