The next morning we took the bus to the port to Morocco. The building was nice, and the port was packed with cargo crates. This was either THE busiest, or one of the busiest, ports in Europe.

The ferry itself was not exactly new, and it was not terribly crowded, though the noisy Moroccan children forced me to put on my headphones. The African coast was only seven miles or so from Spain at this point, but because ocean currents, we had to go into the Atlantic, and the trip took almost three hours.
