Our next stop was Marakesh. It was quite a long drive from Fez to Marakesh - around eight hours, I believe. I got a lot of reading done on the trip. Anyway, this was the hotel. I got a ground floor room next to the Aussies and got to lay out in the sun for a bit, which was very nice. After all, living in Michigan, I lose my tan every winter. I have to thank Mimi, one of the other people on the tour. She went out and bought a stuffed camel for me because I wanted to lay in the sun. Hey, she lives in LA - she gets warm weather all the time!
