In August, Andrea and I went to Orchard Beach State Park in Manistee. For those of you not familiar with Michigan, Manistee is on the west side of the lower peninsula, on Lake Michigan.

The first thing we had to do was set up the tent. It was relatively quick and painless. It was not right on the water, but we could see it, and we had some tree cover to (sort of) protect us from the rain that came Sunday morning.
